A resurrected Fuzztub! This is rock and roll as it was meant to be
played. Huge, loud, swaggering... Fuzztub doesn't let off the gas too
much on this seven track EP. Crushingly heavy, grooving along at a pace
that appeals to your primal instincts while never once dumbing it down.
Guitarist/vocalist Bob D has you right where he wants you the whole
time, and it's best just to let him drive- he knows exactly where he's
going, and it's a hell of a ride. From the foot-stomping groove of
opener/title track "Boon" to the re-recorded version of "Fat Uncle
Buckshot" that closes the album out,(and holds up remarkably well- this
version rocks even harder than the original) one can't help but grin
maniacally. I doubt that there is anyone alive that can suppress a
smile when they hear the '30.06' line in "Camp Friendly," and few can
disagree with the fact that "Low Budget Armageddon" is one of the most
bad-ass songs ever recorded. This album does not disappoint, I have
been playing the heck out of it since I picked it up. Fuzztub is also
on tour... ...so keep an eye out for that- they put on a hell of
a show.
